About Victoria

Ten years reading people. Now I teach founders.

Before Take the Leap, I spent 10 years as a police officer, the last few as a detective. That work shaped everything about how I communicate today.

The short version

It's about helping people back themselves.

Policing taught me how people respond under pressure, how much clarity and trust matter when the stakes are real, and how the way you deliver a message can change the outcome. In an interview room or an investor pitch, it's the same skill.

Since leaving policing I've built a business from the ground up, secured a $100,000 grant and sat on boards and committees in my community. I'm not coaching from theory. I've done the thing I now help other people do.

My style is direct. I'll ask what you're actually trying to say and why anyone should care, and I'll tell you when something doesn't make sense. Then we fix it together, and where I can, I show you how to do it yourself.

Where the name came from

I wrote the "Take the Leap" chapter in Purpose and Passion. It's the same story that gave this business its name: take the opportunity, move through the fear, and act before you feel ready.

I'm now writing my own book, Take the Leap – The Beginning.

Clear.
Confident.
Ready.

If you're building something, preparing to pitch or want to speak with more confidence, I'd love to hear about it.
