Before Take the Leap, I spent a decade as a police officer — several of those years as a Detective. That work shaped everything about how I communicate today.
I learned how people respond under pressure. How important clarity and trust are when the stakes are real. And how the way you deliver a message can completely change the outcome — whether that's in an interview room or an investor pitch.
Since leaving policing, I've built and led businesses from the ground up, secured significant government funding and scholarships, and lived the reality of starting, growing and backing an idea myself. I'm not coaching from theory — I've done the thing I now help other people do.
Now I use that experience to help founders, professionals and organisations with pitching, communication, presentations, marketing and speaking. Sometimes that's refining a pitch. Sometimes it's helping someone explain their business more clearly, feel more confident speaking in front of others, or work out how to market what they do. Whatever it is, we work through it together — and where I can, I show you how to do it yourself.
